MINNEAPOLIS (April 6, 2026) — RBC Clearing & Custody, a leading provider of clearing, custody and execution services to independent broker-dealers and registered investment advisors (RIAs), today announced that its Chief Revenue Officer, Kelly Johnson, has been named an honoree of the Twin Cities Business Notable Women in Banking and Finance. The recognition celebrates individuals who have demonstrated the ability to effect meaningful change in their industry and make lasting contributions to the Minnesota business community.

Kelly Johnson’s 24-year tenure at RBC is defined by evolving leadership and deep commitment to the Minnesota financial sector. Over the past 18 months, she managed relationships for over 20 investment firms, overseeing $35 billion in client assets while delivering 5% annual revenue growth. These efforts have solidified RBC’s competitive standing in the clearing and custody space, both regionally and nationally.

“I’m deeply honored by this recognition, which reflects my colleagues’ unwavering support,” said Kelly Johnson. “Leadership is found in the daily moments where we lift others up through mentorship and creating pathways for the next generation. That’s exactly why I’m committed to driving impact through initiatives like RBC Women Empowered and our annual RBC Wealth Management-U.S. Women’s Summit.”

Brett Thorne, President, RBC Clearing & Custody, added, “Kelly’s leadership embodies exactly what this recognition celebrates. Her strategic vision has been transformative for our organization, but what truly sets her apart is her commitment to lifting others up and creating meaningful opportunities for growth. She leads with authenticity and purpose, and her dedication to developing the next generation of Minnesota’s financial leaders reflects the kind of impact this award honors.”

By recognizing exceptional women in banking and finance through its Notable program, Twin Cities Business selects honorees who demonstrate specific initiatives and programs that create significant, positive and measurable results. The program prioritizes those with personal leadership qualities, community involvement and meaningful testimonials from colleagues and leaders.
