Balances are reviewed daily to determine the appropriate interest rate tier for each account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-footnote disclaimer has-dark-grey-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><sup>1<\/sup>&nbsp;APY = Annual Percentage Yield. At the discretion of RBC Capital Markets, LLC, interest rates may change at any time without notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-footnote wp-block-paragraph\">RBC Insured Deposits (\u201cthe Program\u201d) is an automated cash sweep option that sweeps uninvested cash balances in clients\u2019 accounts into interest-bearing deposit accounts with RBC affiliate banks and additional unaffiliated banks (\u201cProgram Banks\u201d) up to applicable limits and subject to certain requirements. Availability is subject to certain restrictions. The Program provides up to $5 million in Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (\u201cFDIC\u201d) insurance coverage per depositor in each insurable ownership capacity (\u201cDeposit Limit\u201d). Each deposit account constitutes a direct obligation of the Program Bank and is not directly or indirectly an obligation of RBC Capital Markets, LLC, which is not an FDIC-insured depository institution. More information regarding FDIC insurance is available at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fdic.gov\">http:\/\/www.fdic.gov<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-footnote has-dark-grey-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">RBC Insured Deposits are not subject to market risk and potential value loss, but are subject to the risk of a Program Bank\u2019s failure. In the event a Program Bank fails, deposits at each Program Bank are eligible for FDIC coverage up to applicable limits. Deposit balances in excess of the Deposit Limit will be invested with Excess Banks and are not covered by FDIC insurance. Currently, the Primary Excess Bank is City National Bank (\u201cCNB\u201d), an RBC Affiliate Bank.
